INTRO TO GUTTERS
Gutters are designed to channel the water off your roof. Downspouts are designed to channel the water away from your home. Unfortunately, the water isn't always carried far enough away from the home, and disaster occurs. If heavy rains, no gutters, damaged, or simply clogged gutters and downspouts are causing the water to pool near the base of your home, this is a problem that you want to correct immediately! Water seepage can lead to other problems such as mold, mildew and dry rot. For a relatively low cost, you can protect your home from extremely costly damage! If you want these problems corrected you should contact us at Simply Seamless Gutters.
Seamless gutters are made through a process called Roll Forming. Roll forming is a continuous bending operation in which a long strip of coiled metal is passed through consecutive sets of rollers, each performing only an incremental part of the bend, until the desired cross-section profile is obtained. Roll formed metal has an advantage over extruded metal of a similar shapes. Roll formed parts are generally much lighter and stronger, having been work hardened in a cold state. Another advantage is that the part can be made having a finish or already painted. The resulting roll-formed gutter is "seamless" meaning it is one, long continuous gutter, and not multiple sections joined together at a seam. Seamless gutters are manufactured on site to the exact size required by the job, so there is very little waste. They can span great lengths of over 100 feet long, without a single seam.
